The Gujarat Titans will now play their next match against the Rajasthan Royals at the Dr D.Y. Patil Cricket Stadium in Navi Mumbai. The Hardik Pandya-led team won their first Indian Premier League match against Lucknow Super Giants before beating Delhi Capitals to a thrilling 3-run win over Punjab Kings. Led by Indian jack-of-all-trades (all rounder) Hardik Pandya, the Gujarat Titans beat LSG by five wickets in their first match to take the lead over their new competitor in the league. The Gujarat Titans won the game by five wickets and made their debut in TATA IPL 2022, winning their opening match.

The Gujarat Titans found a different winner in every match, while the fickle Sunrisers Hyderabad won for the first time and would like to keep getting better with every game. While the Gujarat Titans are undefeated in the tournament, the Sunrisers Hyderabad will participate in the evening’s competition after an eight-wicket comprehensive win over the Chennai Super Kings in the southern part derby a couple of days ago.

Apart from Gujarat Titans, other teams arere also playing their A game in this tournament; KKR were at their best against the Mumbai Indians as KKR star bowler Cummins showed a great display of batting and took KKR over the line. KKR were chasing around 160 odd runs in 20 overs, but who needs to bat for 20 overs when you have a player like Pat Cummins. Cummins took two wickets while bowling and gave away 49 runs in his spell of 4 overs. To cover that leakage of runs in the first innings, he came to bat and scored and quick firey half-century, which is now tied for the quickest half-century in the IPL history (14 balls half-century). KL Rahul was the first to complete this feat, achieving fifty run mark within 14 balls.
